Hi, my name is Kirsten Nairn. I’m a wedding and family photographer based out of the South Okanagan/Lower Similkameen -Sylix Okanagan Territory. My family and I moved from the coast in January of 2021 looking for a slower, more family oriented pace of life.

I’m an emergency room RN, mum to three adventurous kids, dog mum to two not so little dogs and wife to my partner of ten years, Taylor. I started taking photos once my son was born. I wanted to document every moment and milestone no matter how small. When my little side hobby for friends and family started becoming busier I decided to take a leap of faith, step back from a permanent nursing position and pursue my creative passion.

My approach with photography is all about capturing the candid real life moments. I tend to stay away from static posing and encourage movement. I want you to play with your kids in the dirt, be fully present on your wedding day and have fun with your partner.
